In group H, Ghana strengthened its position as a candidate to advance from the group stage by beating South Korea 3-2 in a match full of goals and emotions.

Serbia and Cameroon drew 3-3 today in an incredible match played at the Al Janoub stadium for the second day of Group G of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, where both teams still have a chance to qualify for the round of 16.

In the first half, when Serbia was superior, it was Cameroon who struck first with a goal by Jean-Charles Castelletto in the 29th minute, but their opponents reacted at the end of the first period and, in a two-minute burst, turned the result around thanks to Strahinja Pavlovic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

In the second half, after a series of passes, Serbia scored the third with Aleksandar Mitrovic's shot into the net after 8 minutes, which seemed to put the game in their favor.

However, against all odds, Cameroon struck twice in the space of three minutes to equalize, first through Vincent Aboubakar's superb finish past goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, and then Eric Choupo-Moting finished off a counter-attack to put the game beyond doubt.

Although both sides went in search of a much-needed win in the remaining time, both wasted their chances and shared points on the second day of Group G.

Now, pending the match between Brazil and Switzerland on Monday, both Serbia and Cameroon have one point and will depend on the result of the team coached by Tite against their opponents to know their chances of advancing to the next stage of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The Africans won at the Education City Stadium and made Group H of the World Cup, which they share with Uruguay and Portugal, red-hot.

In a match full of emotions at the Education City Stadium, Ghana got its first victory in the Qatar 2022 World Cup after defeating South Korea 3-2 in the second matchday of Group H.

Ghana withstood the onslaught until the end and collected three points that put them at the top of Group H with Portgual, who will later face Uruguay. South Korea remained at the bottom of the table with only one point.

Portugal won with authority and defeated Uruguay 2-0 thanks to goals by Bruno Fernandes (the first one was scored by Cristiano Ronaldo, but FIFA gave it to the Manchester United star). With the three points, Fernando Santos' team reached the round of 16, while the Celeste will have to beat Ghana and wait for the result of South Korea.
